Pagade Set - Hand Embroidered

Pagade is an Indian race game popularised in the west as Ludo, and in the US, as ‘Parcheesi - the Royal game of India’. Great kings like Akbar & Mummadi Wodeyar were connoisseurs of this game & there are probable references to this game in the epic Mahabharata too. Even to this day, Fatehpur Sikri has a large garden version of the game.

Kavade brings this historical game in a beautiful form, with a hand embroidered game board, wooden pawns and a pair of wooden dice (daala): all set in a fabric pouch.
