Alugulimane/Pallanguni - wooden board

Aliguli mane is a popular indoor game native to south India and belongs to the family of Mancala games. The game board is made out of wood and sometimes of metal. In earlier days, boards were even carved into stone slabs on veranda floors. This ancient game was invented as a take on sowing and reaping – an integral part of agrarian life. 

Other names: Pallanguli, Mancala, Oware

This foldable game board is made from the soft, cream coloured wood of hale mara or ivory wood.

Please note: This game board is made of wood and may have naturally occuring cracks. The current set of game boards come without designs on the board
